Zusammenfassung
Schluckstörungen sind in der Neurologie ein häufiges Problem. In der Rehabilitation gewinnt die Dysphagie oft zentrale Bedeutung. Die Verlaufsbeobachtung zur Therapiekontrolle gelingt in idealer Weise mittels der videoendoskopischen Pharyngoskopie. Sie ist für den Patienten wenig belastend und nahezu bei jedem Patienten anwendbar. Sie gibt Informationen über die dynamischen Vorgänge eines komplizierten funktionellen Ablaufes, so z. B. bei der Frage nach dem optimalen Zeitpunkt einer Dekanülierung.

Swallowing disorders in neurological rehabilitation – diagnostical possibilities of videoendoscopic pharyngoscopy

Abstract
Swallowing disorders are a common problem in neurology. In rehabilitation dysphagia often gains central importance. The videoendoscopic pharyngoscopy is an ideal method to observe a swallowing disorder and to controll its therapy. It is an easily handled examination and almost applicable with every patient. It gives informations about the dynamic courses of events during the swallowing act. So it can for example help to decide about the optimal date of decanulation.
